Ive followed the instructions to remove the www-search browser redirect, but I still cannot get rid of it. Would there be a script hidden somewhere that keeps redirecting?

0Hi Charlie, the first step when removing www-search.net is to uninstall a program called "Search module" using your Control Panel - this program reverts any changes made to your Internet browsers - if you don't uninstall this app and change your homepage it will revert these changes and continue to redirect you to www-search.net website.
If you can't uninstall "Search module" (or any other recently installed suspicious program) you can try using third party tools:
CCleaner
Download, install and run CCleaner. After launching the program select "Tools". In the uninstall programs list select the program you want to uninstall and click the "Run Uninstaller" button.
Revo Uninstaller
Download, install and run Revo Uninstaller. After launching the program select the program you want to uninstall from the list and click on the "uninstall" button.
IObit uninstaller
Download, install and run IObit Uninstaller. After launching the program select the program you want to uninstall from the list and click on the "uninstall" button.
After uninstalling Search Module and eliminating any unwanted browser plugins from your Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome) you should also scan your computer with Malwarebytes Antimalware and Spyhunter, both of these programs are capable of detecting and removing www-search.net browser hijacker.References:
