UIWIX virus

Hello, my computer got infected with UIWIX ransomware. Is there any way i can restore my files?? I can't open any of my files, there is a 10 digits code and an .UIWIX extension after that. What do i do now??

Hi Jared, no - even professional won't be able to recover your files. A free decrypter could be released if cyber criminals would release the keys used to decrypt victim's data. This could also happen if authorities would seize their servers.

    Hi Jared, at this time UIWIX ransomware is not decryptable. For now you could make a complete backup of your encrytped data and wait - sometime there could be a decrypter available that could decrypt your files for free. In case of ransomware attacks it's always best to have a backup of your files and restore your data from them. Before restoring your data always make sure your computer is no longer infected - scan it with a legitimate anti-malware program (https://www.pcrisk.com/top-spyware-removers).

    Hi Tomas, thanks for your reply. So if i go to the PC repair shop, even the professionals will not be able to decode those files?.. :(
