secure search and secure-surf.net redirect won't go away on Edge and Chrome

One thing that has been irritating me for the longest time is that I can't get rid of the secure search bar on the Google homepage, and the secure-surf.net redirect whenever I sometimes open a new tab. I also keep getting pop ups appearing now and again. I tried resetting Chrome, I tried uninstalling Chrome and reinstalling Chrome, no matter what I do, those two things would not go away. Keep in mind, there was no shady extensions or programs on my computer. At least to my knowledge. But for all I know, my computer could be infected. So what do I do!?

0Hi Charles, most commonly redirects to secure-surf.net are caused by unwanted browser extensions. To be sure your computer is clean scan your PC with https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/ or any other reputable anti-malware from https://www.pcrisk.com/top-spyware-removers
