Hi, I cannot remove Safe Web from my computer. I've tried all the things you've suggested such as resetting browser settings, removing the program, etc. but no joy. I'm desperate - can you help please.

0Hi Cathy, you should double check your Control Panel for suspicious entries - Safe Web adware is known to install various applications which "support" this adware (for example "Download keeper", "ss Supporter", "Ad Blocker", etc.). If not uninstalled these programs will force 'Ads by Safe Web' to appear when browsing the Internet. After double checking you Control Panel scan you computer with Malwarebytes Antimalware and Spyhunter, both of these programs are capable of detecting and removing Safe Web adware (and it's clones "CostMin", "PriceChop", etc.).References:
