Please help remove Virus

Hi I have followed all the instructions to remove Shopping Helper Smartbar engine but after having run Malwarebytes I still cannot remove the dam thing from the programs uninstall area. I have also replaced Google chrome under tools - settings and removed any other url links. Please help. Thank you.

Hi Mike, if you can't remove Shopping Helper Smartbar using Control Panel you could try using third party tools to assist you in this task. You could try using:

CCleaner

Download, install and run CCleaner. After launching the program select "Tools". In the uninstall programs list select the program you want to uninstall and click the "Run Uninstaller" button.

Revo Uninstaller

Download, install and run Revo Uninstaller. After launching the program select the program you want to uninstall from the list and click on the "uninstall" button.

IObit uninstaller

Download, install and run IObit Uninstaller. After launching the program select the program you want to uninstall from the list and click on the "uninstall" button.

PS. Shopping Helper Smartbar causes browser redirects to snapdo.com website, don't forget to reset your Internet browser settings to avoid browser redirect issues.

    I used ccleaner and its still not working. It keeps reinstalling itself even when i say remove completely instead of "hide from browser"
