Before my homepage was Google, now it is changed to onmylike.com I have tried uninstalling recently installed programs, changing the homepage but it keeps coming back. Is this a virus, and how to remove it?

Hi Xelios, onmylike.com is a browser hijacker which is being spread using free software downloads. After successful infiltration this redirect virus changes the shortcut targets of user's Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome). Notice that this browser hijacker also installs a helper object which "protects" one's Internet browser settings from altering, thus computer users cannot change their homepage and default search engine. The name of the rogue program which doesn't allow to change browser settings is called "Wsys Control". Internet users who are dealing with this browser hijacker should first uninstall this rogue program and then fix their Internet browser shortcut targets.
