Followed the uninstall steps for PC running Windows 8; didn't uninstall. Message said, I needed administrative rights to perform this task. It's my PC not connected to some large network. Is there something else I can do with purchasing MALWARE?

Hi Forrest, first make sure your account has administrator rights:

    1. Right-click in the lower left corner of the screen, in the Quick Access Menu select Control Panel.
    2. Click User Accounts.
    3. Click Change your account type.
    4. In the User Accounts menu, select the account you wish to change.
    5. Click the bubble directly right of the administrator option below the account type.
    6. Click "Change Account Type" button.

After completing these steps try uninstalling Speedial application from Control Panel.

If you can't remove Speedial adware using Control Panel you could try using third party tools to assist you in this task:

    CCleaner
Download, install and run CCleaner. After launching the program select "Tools". In the uninstall programs list select the program you want to uninstall and click the "Run Uninstaller" button.

    Revo Uninstaller
Download, install and run Revo Uninstaller. After launching the program select the program you want to uninstall from the list and click on the "uninstall" button.

    IObit uninstaller
Download, install and run IObit Uninstaller. After launching the program select the program you want to uninstall from the list and click on the "uninstall" button.

After successfully uninstalling Speedial application be sure to reset your Internet browser settings following this removal guide https://www.pcrisk.com/removal-guides/7876-speedial-com-redirect
